We do not have control over every situation or circumstance that affects our lives. But, through this awesome gift that our Lord has given us ... the power of choice ... we do have the power to decide how we will react to that situation or circumstance!! The lame man chose to believe the One who stood before him. Something in His voice ... something in His countenance ... something about this Man ... was powerful. And believeable. And the man who had been lame from birth, took up his pallet ... and for the first time in his life, he walked!!!
Our lives get busy ... or familiar ... or anything else that keeps us from believing. But today ... right now ... you have that same awesome power of choice that the lame man had. By God's grace, all things are possible. Yes ... healing and wholeness IS possible!! As we submit our lives more and more fully to Him, there is always healing!

How have your choices affected the direction that your life has headed in? 2. What does God's "grace" mean to you? Have you made His grace personal in your own life? How? |

God is a tri-part Being ... He is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We are created in His image. In His "image" does not mean that we look like Him. It means that we are tri-part beings as well. We are spirit, we have a soul, and we live in a body. In addition to that, our souls are tri-part as well ... made up of our mind, our will and our emotions. It is our will that comes into play in this discussion. Will power is a strong force. The power of our will should never be underestimated. Both your life here on earth and your eternal life will be determined by the power of your will. And with it, you can grasp hold of one of God's greatest blessings ... the power of choice.

Our Lord has given us an awesome power ... it's called choice. We have the incredible power, even in the midst of grief and/or depression, to choose what direction our life will head in. Jesus once gave a lame man sitting by a pool of water, a choice. Jesus told this lame man to take up his pallet and walk. And at that point, he had a choice to make ... would he believe in the "reality" of his situation? Or the "truth" of the words spoken by the One who stood before him?
